Each new school year is a moment of hope for children in Southeast Asia. In September, students in the Philippines and Vietnam return to school. In November, it will be the turn of children in Laos, and in January, those in Cambodia. It is the perfect time to renew our commitment: supporting their education, a fundamental right that paves the way to independence, protects against inequality, and helps build a fairer future.

Education is not just academic learning; it also provides protection against exploitation, forced labor, marginalization, and poverty.

Despite progress, many children in rural or disadvantaged areas of Southeast Asia still do not have access to quality schools or the necessary resources (equipment, teachers, infrastructure).

The 2024 fundraising campaign

Part of last year’s back-to-school fundraising helped build infrastructure in Laos and develop the PARC project in Vietnam.

To support the new school year, we aim to raise €30,000 to continue our work in Southeast Asia.
