Dental Mission in Cambodia
From July 10 to July 31 2025, a new dental mission took place in Cambodia as the result of a collaboration between the University of Health Sciences of Phnom Penh and Université Paris Cité, with the support and coordination of the Enfants d’Asie team.
This initiative had a clear objective: to provide underprivileged children with better access to oral healthcare, while also raising awareness about the importance of good oral hygiene.

Smiles Restored
The teams visited the Borey Komar and Borey Niseth centers in Phnom Penh, as well as the Smong center located in Takeo Province, where they carried out preventive actions, conducted consultations, and referred children for appropriate care. These interventions made it possible to treat numerous dental conditions while also providing practical advice to help preserve long-term oral health.
Next Steps
All partners will meet again by the end of September 2025 for a debriefing session. This meeting will allow for a comprehensive assessment of the mission, including successes, challenges encountered, and lessons learned. It will also be an opportunity to prepare the next mission scheduled for July 2026.
We would like to thank Jeanne and Marine for their work in Cambodia.
