Celebrating International Education Day: Enfants d’Asie’s Commitment in Southeast Asia

On January 24, International Education Day is an opportunity to reflect on the fundamental importance of education in human development, especially in regions where access to quality education remains a major challenge. We celebrate this day by highlighting our concrete actions to provide a better future for children in Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, and the Philippines through education.

In many regions of Southeast Asia, access to quality education remains limited. The obstacles are numerous: poverty, child labor, gender inequalities, inadequate school infrastructure, and a lack of educational resources. Aware of this challenge, Enfants d’Asie has been working since its founding to provide disadvantaged children with the tools they need for their development and future independence.

Enfants d’Asie implements comprehensive educational programs that go far beyond access to school. In addition to schooling, Enfants d’Asie is committed to providing support tailored to each child, whether it involves supplying school materials, academic assistance, or monitoring by social workers. Thanks to sponsorships and donations, we ensure that children and young people have access to quality education.

We implement programs aimed at reducing inequalities between girls and boys in Vietnam through scholarship programs specifically for middle school, high school, and university girls.

International Education Day is an opportune moment to highlight the importance of education for children around the world. We are all actors in this change. By supporting our actions, you help provide thousands of children with a better future.
