On Friday, April 13th, French Ambassador to the Philippines Nicolas Galey came to visit our Community Program in Taboan, together with his wife Camelia, Michael and Joana Lhuillier, and Louis Thevenin, Director of the Alliance Francaise of Cebu.
During the visit, our guests met our local director, deputy director, social worker and 27 of our beneficiaries, who shared some of their life stories and experiences with Enfants d’Asie (Children of Asia). This moment of exchange was also a chance for our beneficiaries to ask questions about an ambassador’s role and missions. Furthermore, the meeting was punctuated by short presentations, such as dancing and singing.
The visit of the French Ambassador’s represents an important moment for Enfants d’Asie to celebrate our NGO’s 20 years of action in the Philippines!
