Where were you born?
I was born in Toul Chan Village, Tang Krang Commune, Churng Prey District, Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia.
What was your family situation ?
When I was a student at university, my family had been facing difficulty with financial support for me and my brothers and sisters. My family is a big one, I have 4 brothers and 3 sisters and I am the third child. At that time my older brother, my older sister, and I were in the universities at the same time. Moreover my younger brothers and sisters were in the secondary school. My father was a teacher, who retired last year, with small amount of salary which supported for the whole family and my mother was a housewife. I was very difficult for us to support ourselves and rent a room. My decided to ask the monks for a temporary stay in the pagoda. However we did have a suitable place to stay especially for my sister. Finally we decided to ask Enfants d’Asie manager to allow us to stay. Luckily, my sister and I were allowed to stay Enfants d’Asie and my older brother still stayed in the pagoda. With little money from my father, my brother and I had taught at private class to earn extra money to support our daily expenses and study.
Can you sum up your school career? What study have you done?
I had studied bachelor degree of Business Economic at National Institute of Management in Phnom Penh for four years. I also continue my master degree in Business Administration and Master of Educational Administration in Cambodia. Nowadays, I am studying Master of Educational Planning from International Institute for Educational Planning in France.
How Enfants d’Asie helped you ?
Enfants d’Asie provided a place to stay with health service provided. Moreover, Enfants d’Asie tried to find Godfather for me. He had supported me both financial and metal which motivate me to graduate successfully with a satisfied job.
What is your job now ?
I am a teacher of Economic at National Institute of Education (NIE) since 2017. Recently I am a staff of Planning and Management department, NIE. My duties and responsibilities are to provide training for educational staff at sub national level.
